31 Days of Oscar – TCM

Movies3If you’re an avid movie fan like I am, and if you have the Turner Classic Movie Channel (TCM), you’ll want to be sure to check out its 31 Days of Oscar which started today.

Seriously, this is one of THE best times to see a whole bunch of incredible films. As a matter of fact, when TCM stops the 31 days of Oscar showings and goes back to its regular rotation, it’s a bit of a let down. It’s like having spent over a month dining in the finest restaurants in the world and then having to go back to eating at Dennys. (No intentional slur on Denny’s intended here. I’ve dined  there on occasion and the one near me stays open 24 hours so its a great place to drink coffee, eat sugary foods and write). But you get my drift.

I just caught the last minutes of the 1939 version of Wuthering Heights with a really handsome, young Laurence Olivier as Heathcliff and Merle Oberon as Cathy.

Wuthering Heights,

Here’s a link to a pdf of the schedule. I’m sure you’ll find some favorites listed.

There’s 31 days worth of incredible movies after all.
