Forward to the Future

butterfly, butterflies, future, freedom, change, creativity, 2014, new yearAs I look forward to 2014, I’m making some major changes when it comes to the kinds of stories I’ll be writing.

I’m a HUGE science-fiction, fantasy and paranormal fan. Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon Five, Lord of the Rings, Being Human, and even more books, movies and TV shows than I can name or list at the moment.

I also love myths and fairytales and have been reading them since I was a kid.  As a matter of fact, my shelves are groaning with loads of books on those subjects. So the stories I’ll be writing this year will deal with those particular passions of mine. In addition to my Hot & Spicy West series, I will be adding new books to my Sapphire Desires line of books.

The Sapphire Desires books are sexy, romantic stories dealing with some aspect of the supernatural, the paranormal and the mystical.

Her Immortal Love, Diana Castle, Sapphire Desires, Romance, Immortality, Immortal Lovers,Her Immortal Love, which is the first book in the series, is not only a story about an older woman and a younger man, but it also deals with the concept of immortality and what it can do to a person when one spends so many centuries alone.

The next book in the Sapphire Desires series will deal with werewolves and the book following that will include mythology in a contemporary setting and a secret world that revolves around it.

Stay tuned for news about those.

I’ll also be writing contemporary romances, which will be modern fairytales involving rich and powerful men and the women who love them.

So, all in all, I’m very much looking forward to 2014. This is the year I will explore stories and characters and settings very much in tune with my deepest interests and passions. Hope you’ll join me in my explorations of the sexy, the edgy and the romantic.

Fino alla prossima volta

  1. Oh, lots of pans in the fire 🙂 Looking forward to what you bring to life. Happy writing!

  2. Diana Castle says:

Thanks, Raelyn. I’ve finally accepted the fact that I can’t work on one thing at a time so I’m just going to juggle those pans as fast as I can!
