Well, it’s that time of the year. Common cold season. Or, if you prefer, nasopharyngitis, rhinopharyngitis or acute coryza season. And, despite all my efforts to avoid getting a cold, I’ve got one.
I’ll have to take a break from my daily walks and yield to this virus that has infected me by getting as much rest as I can. I’ve got so much I need to get done (as I’m sure all of you do too), and I don’t need to have this cold lingering on for weeks and weeks. I’ve had that happen when I didn’t slow down and rest.
It’s a bummer because for the next few days we’re going to be enjoying absolutely beautiful weather (which would have been perfect for walking) before it starts to turn a lot cooler.
Oh, well, there’s nothing for it. I’ve gotta get over this cold. So be careful out there. There’s a nasopharyngitis bug making the rounds.
