The cool-down is definitely on its way. It was cloudy this morning for my walk and a bit cooler, but the humidity was 93% and it felt like it. It rained earlier so the ground was wet and the trees were soggy. Not as a many people out and about and those that were were definitely in a mood. I usually try to speak to people I pass, but the two I did pass had these decidedly pissed-off looks. I just keep stepping.
I met Noki (not sure if that’s the way the owner spells it), a golden lab. Her owner told me that Noki’s tail had some kind of growth issues and hadn’t grown out as long as it should have. Well, it was wagging so I guess that’s what really matters.
Had a cat sighting. Some dun colored tabby stared at me for a bit then padded away and hid under a truck. That sunflower I saw yesterday that was standing so proudly was now bedraggled from the rain.
Oh, I saw my buddy, Gus, the gray Shih Tzu Pomeranian I met last week. I was walking towards him this time so he was a little less stressed. He doesn’t like people walking behind him.
